Artworks
Ages 4 to 10
 |
Artworks aims to create an environment that supports children of all abilities, introducing them to a range of materials:
paint, clay, pastels, modrock, glue, paper, fabric, etc. At each session children produce a completed artwork, exploring elements of line, colour, tone, texture, form, pattern and shape. Over time they develop in both skill and confidence, and gain a sound basic education in art and craft. |
Art Club
Ages 10 to 12
The aim of the Art Club is to develop children’s interest and love for Art into a more mature level. In a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere using a variety of materials, they learn:
1. The art of observation which is fundamental for any artistic expression.
2. The freedom to improvise.
3. The challenge to stretch their imagination.
4. The opportunity to learn how to use new techniques and materials.
In a playful, social and stimulating way, under individual guidance, their artistic confidence flourishes immensely. The results are always exciting for all of us! The principle of the Art Club is that nothing is too difficult to create, as far as we are prepared to give it a try.
